About Joe
Following a 25-year career as a hospital executive, I founded Values Coach in 1996. I’ve been privileged to work with more than a hundred hospitals, health systems, and professional associations. My speaking and consulting practice has led me to 49 states (hey Hawaii, I’m open to an invitation!).
The focus of my writing is on values-based leadership, building a culture of ownership, and the spirit of self-empowerment that underpins both.

30 years ago, I wrote my first book — Never Fear, Never Quit.
I had a local artist create a logo. It is a reminder that every accomplishment requires the courage to start and the determination to not quit.
